ArchPortal Tracker — Privacy Policy

This policy covers the iOS application ArchPortal Tracker, published by Arch Portal Industries LLC. It does not cover the archportals.com store, which has its own privacy policy.

Summary

ArchPortal Tracker does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party software development kits of any kind. Nothing you do in the app is visible to us.

Camera access

The app requests camera access because Apple's ARKit framework requires it to determine the device's position and orientation in space. The camera feed is used only for this purpose, on the device, in real time.

No image or video data is recorded, stored, or transmitted anywhere. The camera preview shown on screen exists only while the app is open and is never written to storage.

Local network access

The app requests local network access in order to send camera tracking data to a computer on your own network.

The destination is an IP address that you type in yourself. The app does not scan your network, does not discover other devices, and does not send data to any address other than the one you enter. The data sent consists of numeric position and rotation values and a timecode. It contains no personal information.

Nothing is sent to Arch Portal Industries LLC, or to any server we operate or control. We operate no servers in connection with this app.

Data stored on your device

The app saves the IP address you last entered, so you do not have to retype it each time. This is stored in the app's own settings on your device using standard iOS storage. It is not transmitted anywhere, and it is deleted when you delete the app.

Analytics and tracking

The app contains no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising identifiers, and no tracking of any kind. We do not know how many times the app has been opened, what settings you use, or whether you use it at all.

Apple may provide us with aggregate, anonymised statistics about App Store downloads and crashes. This is a standard part of distributing an app through the App Store, is not linked to individual users, and is governed by Apple's own privacy policy rather than this one.

Third parties

We do not share, sell, rent, or disclose user data to anyone, because we do not have any user data to share.

Children

The app is a professional tool and is not directed at children. It collects no information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of the app changes what it does with data, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the effective date above will change. Material changes will also be noted in the App Store release notes.
